With a free 2K Account, you can claim in-game rewards for Sid Meier's Civilization VII and get notified on all the latest news and reveals, as well as in-game rewards for Sid Meier's Civilization VI!* The instructions below will help you (and all the Civ fans you know) get the most out of your 2K Account.

By setting up a free 2K Account, you're entitled to add Napoleon Bonaparte with his Emperor Persona to your selection of leaders in Civilization VII at launch!

To earn this reward, sign-up or log in at portal.2k.com, link the account and platform you'll use to play Civilization VII via the "Connections" tab underneath "Account Overview," seen on the left side of the screen. Once Civilization VII is available, you'll simply log into your 2K Account in-game to access Napoleon Bonaparte with his Emperor Persona.

Like all leader Personas, Napoleon's Emperor Persona has a unique outfit and background, new gameplay bonuses, and an alternative agenda when played by the AI. Napoleon's Emperor Persona specializes in commerce and military might, with a new Unique Ability: Empereur des Français, which is a Unique Diplomatic Action that reduces the Trade Route capacity for a target civilization and causes massive Grievances. He also gets bonus Gold per Age for every leader he's Unfriendly or Hostile with.

Signing up for a 2K Account is easy! You can simply go to portal.2k.com and register, or use the form located on the Sid Meier's Civilization VII game page or the Sid Meier's Civilization franchise homepage. You can also sign up at the bottom of this page!

You can also sign up for a 2K Account in-game in Sid Meier's Civilization VI. Simply click on the 2K Account button in the bottom right-hand corner of the main menu and then follow the instructions to register a new account.

To thank the community for supporting the Civilization series across multiple titles, everyone who's played both Sid Meier's Civilization VI and Sid Meier's Civilization VII with a linked 2K Account can add Napoleon Bonaparte with his Revolutionary Persona to their leader lineup in Civilization VII at launch!

To earn this reward, sign-up or log in at portal.2k.com, link your 2K Account to the platform you use to play Civilization VI via the "Connections" tab underneath "Account Overview," seen on the left side of the screen, then boot up Civilization VI and log into your 2K Account in-game. When Civilization VII is available, repeat this same process with Civilization VII. You do not need to own Civilization VI and Civilization VII on the same platform to redeem this reward.

Once you've completed the 2K Account creation and verified your email, you'll be able to sign up to receive newsletters and promotional messages from 2K and its affiliates, including all the latest announcements for Sid Meier's Civilization VII and the franchise as a whole. If you're creating a 2K Account for the first time, the option to sign up will be part of the account creation process. 

If you already have a 2K Account, simply log in on portal.2k.com, then go to the "Communications" tab underneath "Account Overview," seen on the left side of the screen after you've signed in at portal.2k.com. Make sure you've marked the checkbox next to "I would like to receive news and promotional messages from 2K and its affiliates" and "Subscribe" underneath the Civilization logo.

If the "Subscribe" checkbox underneath the Civilization logo isn't checked, you can sign up by clicking "Update" in the top right, checking the box, then hitting "Save" in the bottom right.

Link your new or existing 2K Account to your account on the platform you use to play Sid Meier's Civilization VI (excluding Android) to add Julius Caesar to your roster! In addition, you’ll receive the Scout Cat cosmetic skin that replaces your Scouts' trusty canine companions with clowders of cat explorers!

Once you’ve completed the sign-up or log in at portal.2k.com, link the account and platform you use to play Sid Meier's Civilization VI via the "Connections" tab underneath "Account Overview," seen on the left side of the screen. Then simply boot up Sid Meier's Civilization VI and log into your 2K Account in-game!

After you've linked your 2K Account, you'll need to restart Civilization VI and enable Julius Caesar and the Scout Cat skin. To do so, click "Additional Content" on the game's main menu followed by "Mods," then scroll down through your list of additional content, click on "DLC: Julius Caesar" and "DLC: Scout Cat" then click on the "Enable" button.

Julius Caesar - Roman Leader

Where Civilization VI's default Roman leader Trajan has a penchant for civilizations with lots of territory and starts with a free building in all founded cities, Caesar is a conqueror. His dislike of Barbarians in-game is a nod to the successful campaign he waged against the tribes of Gaul during his time as a general circa 57 BC.

New Ability: Veni, Vidi, Vici 

+300 Gold whenever you conquer a city for the first time or when you earn Gold from a Barbarian Outpost. The Gold becomes 500 after researching Metal Casting and 700 after Steel (on Standard Speed). When targeting Barbarians, receive +5 Combat Strength and always earn normal XP.

How will you choose to lead as Julius Caesar? Perhaps you want to recreate history by allying with Cleopatra? Maybe you relish the prospect of going toe-to-toe with a leader like the German king Frederick Barbarossa, who became Rome's Holy Emperor a millennium and change after Caesar ruled there? Regardless of how you lead, we hope you enjoy playing as and against one of history's greatest military commanders.
